RPM and MPH variation
My 90 350 sdl will run between 71 and 75 mph at a constant 3000rpm. It isn't a rise and fall but differs from am to pm.
Is there that much slip in th TC or are my guages slacking? The car runs smoothly and MPG has not changed.

The torque converter never 'locks' like some cars, so you can get 100-200 rpm difference at 70mph, before it changes speed much, by playing with the pedal. Let us know more... |
