v6 water pump: Graf Vs Hepu Vs. Geba. Which one?

Got the water pump off the 98' C280 and now need to choose a new one.

The water pump I removed has the inner turbine that looks like the one on this Geba brand Listed here at $115.72 (w/o gasket)

While the Hepu (listed here at $162.20) has a stamped steel impeller:

then there is Graf (listed here at 133.26), which I don't know how it looks.

So, which pump would you recommend and why? Any experiences good or bad with either brand of the V6 water pumps?

TIA,
MarkC

Geba buys graf insternals and puts them in cases sourced from I don't know where.. 6 of 1 b/w the two..

Never heard of the other company.. On my own cars or if my client plans on keeping the car I install genuine pumps.

i dont

disagree with i hodg, but if choosing between the stamped impeller and the cast or forged one i would go with the forged one. the shape of the impeller has to be more effecient than the stamped one.

All I was saying is Graf and Geba are essentially the same, never spoke this way or that about they other..never dealt w/ them or installed them thus I didn't feel comfortable commenting.

I like genuine pumps, have never had one come back on warantee.

Thanks for the replies. I decided to choose the Geba for two reasons; One it was the less costly, and two, it looks nearly identical to the one I removed. I checked with the dealer but they wanted $262.80 plus about $60 (+or-) for the core, and I believe it would have been a rebuilt unit. One difference I did notice in the pic compared to my original is that the turbine on the Geba has a beveled edge, while the one I removed doesn't. I noticed this because the turbine on the original water pump lightly scraped against the timing cover (also scraped against the water pump...the bearings went bad allowing the axle to wobble). I ordered it from FastLane, the forum sponsor.

Exclamation

The OE original pump has the "stamped" metal impeller!

The only "aftermarket" pump that uses the factory original INA bearing/seal assembly is Graf! That pump also has the stamped impeller.

Geba is a similar product to Graf! however they use a different bearing/seal package.

The pump with the cast impeller DOESN'T supply as much water as the stamped versions!

For your application the Graf is the best aftermarket choice.

LIST on the factory rebuilt is $220!
