seat switch swap

Is it possible to just change the seat switch in order to get electric seats w/ memory in a 94 w124?
There are two types of switches available so i was wondering if i could just change the switch with one that has memory in order to get this feature.

Thanks

Ditto

I would like to know if the same approach could be used on a W126 (500SEC). I got power seats w/o the memory. Can a memory-equipped seat switch be used and have the memory option?

As far as I know - not without additional relays.

If it hasn't already got memory the wires aren't there.

Cheers

since it came as an option i'm guessing the wires would still be there right?
