Exclamation Problems w/W124 Locks

Hey guys.

Two problems:

(1) my driver's side key hole is sticking so badly that lately I can't turn my key when I stick it in.

(2) I started using the trunk key hole to unlock the car until I get the door lock fixed. My girlfriend borrowed my car today, and now the trunk lock is acting funny. Before, my key would go in the hole vertically (i.e. the slot sat in a vertical position). Now, the key slot is sitting in the horizontal position, and when I stick my key in, the key won't turn. When I push the keyhole button in, the trunk won't open... Since I have a 300ce, all I have left is the passenger side lock to open my damn car! The thing about the trunk issue is that even when I unlock the car via the passenger door, the trunk remains locked. So I simply cannot open my trunk!!

Please help! Is there something about how the trunk works that I simply don't understand, or do I need to have both of my locks replaced?!?

Thanks!

Pete

Do you have another key you can try? When I bought my TE the previous owner gave two keys. One day the one I had been using regularly just wouldn't work in the ignition anymore. Started using the spare, and got a new one at the dealer. Sometimes the spare would feel a little funny when I was unlocking the door, but it was never a serious problem. Beats rekeying everything if it works.
