center vents not working w124

The centre vents don't blow any air when ever i put the heater on. They work with the A/c but not the heater. Any ideas why/whats wrong??

I had this problem with my 95 w202 c220. I was told that it's somthing to do with the driver falling asleep with the hot air blowing in his/her face.

Nothing wrong. I like that it works that way in mine. I think it forces more air to the floor, which in winter is a good thing.

I would add that I've never been in a diesel powered vehicle that kept me as warm in extreme cold and wind like the 87 does. Around here it can get to zero F, with a 20 or 30 mph wind, and she stays toasty warm in the cabin.

I installed vacuum distribution block from 420sel in my 300E and made 1 out of 2 climate control unit since original had broken buttons and what happens now is when heater is on and recirculation switch is on hot air is coming out center vents. Most likely it is some kind of malfunction but A/C works out center vents also. Weird thing...
