Question Heater issue

Hi,

91 300ce

My heater blows cold all the time. A/C is ice cold, but nothing from the heater. And, I never get any air whatsoever from the center vents. I have the glove compartment out, but I dont know what Im looking at nor what Im looking for.

It feels like no matter if I turn the A/C on or the Heater on, the car blows out very cold A/C air.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

no heat

Check where the inlet/outlet water lines go through the firewall. Is the inlet line warm? If it is hot then a couple things can be going on: a) the controller for opening the valve to the heater core is not functioning. b) you have a massive airlock or other blockage in your heater core (these can be removed, but maybe leave that for later).

Exclamation

IF you un-plug the electrical connector on the heater valve(by the battery) the car should have FULL heat! IF not then the heater valve is stuck OR the heater core is plugged!
