fuel

What did the fuel guage read when you shut it off last night? You may be on a hill and whatever fuel is in the tank can't get to the lines. Alway's check the easy things first. If you know you have plenty of fuel in the tank, then check back in here and folk's can help out from there.

All the time, are you saying if you take out the key the light stays on?or did you put gas in the tank and the light stays on.First you need to find out if it is not starting cause of no fuel or spark.Without that we cant help you.To check for fuel have someone try and start the car and and try and hear if the fuel pump is buzzing by the right rear tire,or take of the air filter and press down lightly on the air flow sensor, now there should ne no resistance try and start the car and see if you have more resistance,if the same no fuel preasure.Other way is to remove the fuel line to the fuel dist and crank the car.YOu will see if you have preasure. If you have fues than it is good.no fuel either pump or relay .To check for spart take the center hi tension cable of the distributor and hold half to an inch from grouing and let someone crank the car you might want to use a insulated pliers or a rag to hold the wire. You should get a nice spark. But to be on the safe side do the spark check first ,cause you dont want to burn your car down if you actualy had fuel preasure and got some on the engine . Let us know what you find Harald
