ML 320 Wheel Bearing

I'm hering a loud chiprping noise from the front wheel area as i take off and can hear at low speeds until I get to speed. Time for wheel bearings at 130,000. Does anyone know the size if nut on the Hub assembly? I have a 30mm and it's larger than that.

Thanks

Don't be too quick with the diagnostics. Bad wheel bearings usually result in a noise described as rumbling, groaning, or droning -- not chirping. Look for problems with the brakes, flex disc, or perhaps a shield rubbing against something.

I see lots of ML's needing to have the driveshaft center bearing replaced for noises like yours. Very common.
