420 sel instrument lights

1990 420 SEL

Dash lights won't work, pulled cluster replaced blubs, no help.

The driver seat won,t adjust with the door open ignition off, is this related?

so the question is how do I get cluster lights?

All the others works fine, brakes, turn signals, abs ETC.

Thanks in advance
CK

Hello. It may not be the cluster, nor the lights. Have you replaced the "rheostat"? (Or whatever it is called)......

Have you turned the trip meter knob?

They may be fully dimmed.
