Is there a manual transmission for 560

I haven't seen any manual transmission for 560 (1986~1991) but I heared that someone installed one. Is it possible to install that manual transmission on 560?

i bet they came that way in

other markets. none here. the bell housing and adapter plate are different from the inline engines i think. parts exist i am sure but i dont know how to get them.

let us all know if you find out how to get them.

No, there was no manual transmission offered on 560 SELs at any market.

The only manuals available on W126s were fitted to the six cylinder (280/300 SE/L and 300/350 SD/L) models as standard on most markets -except the U.S., where automatics were standard-.

All V-8 models had automatics.

I think this is true. It's an interesting question but the last MB V8 stick that I am aware of is the 350SL from 70s.

i saw a 420 se

advertised for sale a year or so ago with a five speed. i didnt go look at it as it was in colorado, i think. so i cant say for sure it was for real. i think it was advertised by an individual though so it seems more likely than if it were a used car lot.

Check this out:

Go to www.oursl.com to the used SLC listings. There's a really nice mid '70's 350SL with a 4 speed manual. Look at the past newsletters and there is an article on it's rehab. I would love to take it for a test drive!

There was an SLC that just sold recently on ebay for about $1k (or so, I think) and I'm pretty sure it had a V8 w/a manual also. Of course it needed some work...might be able to track down the buyer.
