Air Conditioning Problem - 350 SDL? - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I have a 1991 350SDL. The airconditioning is functioning normally except the compressor does not cycle, it is constantly on. What might cause this problem and what might be the cure?

The evaporator temp sensor sends signal to A/C pushbutton & it sends signal to KLIMA relay to engage compressor.

M.B.DOC:

The A/C pushbutton switch assembly was replaced recently and that is when we discoverd the compressor is not cycling. Is it possible the new a/c pushbutton switch assembly is defective?
