Storing vehicals outside?
Hey everybody. In the garage we have my moms grand prix, and the benz... In the shed we have the honda shadow (ace 1100)... Theres some room in the shed, but not enough...
I need to store a 82 f150 outside... I know its not a benz, and the things hardly show quality... but we just replaced a bunch of brake parts (mainly the lines, wheel cylinders, and the proportioning valve... what a pain in the butt.....) Anyways the reason most of them failed was because of rust (AND... I expect to do the friggin hard fuel lines soon)... The truck is at my grampas house, and its stored on 1 1'2 in thick red tiles, with less than 1/32 between them. The tiles are in good shape, and not cracked. Theyre located between the main driveway, and the lawn at his house... I really dont know how to store something outside, but this is snow country... What should I do to store this thing outside? I have a concreate driveway, and a big grass lawn... I was told that a pea gravel pit (big enough to drive/park on) would be a good thing to put a car on... Whats a good thing to store a vehical on, and how should I prepair the vehical (other than fluids & related) Thanks alot, I REALLY appreciate it ~Nate
