The coolant pump is somewhere close to and underneath the thermostat housing. Is that what is leaking? It may be the pump itself or a hose connected to the pump.

coolant leak

thank you, since I can't see the spot where it is leaking, should I be able to, by hand, feel whether its coming out of the pump or a hose?...

Can you get a good look at it from underneath if you remove the engine encapsulation panel?
