Question 1986 420 SEL power seat problems

Hi All
I recently purchased a 1986 420 SEL. The driver and passenger power seats aren't working. I'm assuming a fuse but I'd like any other input if someone has other experience.

Thanks

Certainly try the fuse first - it's an easy fix if it's out.

If your fuses are ceramic/aluminium, change them over to ceramic/copper.

If that doesn't fix it, there is an excellent post on cleaning your seat switches by donbruce (do a search) - very easy but fiddly job, but usually fixes most often encountered problems.

Lastly the relays - but unusual for both to go.

I'd guess fuse first.

Cheers
