I have a 1991 420SEL. Can anyone tell me if all fuel injection control units for the 420SELs are interchangable?

Thanks in advance,

Bob

i cannot tell you for sure, but if you give me the module numbers, old and new and the vin of the car you are going to put it in i can tell you, it is likely the module may have been updated and that is why the numbers are different,

the one that is in your car should be 009-545-45-32 that one was used from 1988 and newer. is for california models only

the 004-515-39-32 was used only up to end of model year 1987.
the unit you have may work but is not correct it is for federal and california models
