-did my first minor tune up on my 95 s420 without the spark plug puller tool recommended by some of the wiser folks in this forum. Sure enough, I end up breaking the orange plastic handle on the spark plug wire closest to the firewall because I inadvertently wiggled too much. After finally getting the plug out (another big problem), I ended up replacing the whole wire assembly and spent way more than the $35 it would have cost me to buy the spark plug wire tool from partsshop. What was I thinking!! Lots of wisdom around this forum...
Ah, the learning curve gets steeper!
