Just pushed the instrument cluster forward. Know wonder I can't find the speedometer cable. There isn't one! I didn't know these had electronic speedometers. Now the question is why is the needle not registering in cold weather until around 30mph? Sending unit?

AFAIK, your 81 300TD (or 300D) does have a speedo cable, feel around the entire back of the speedo. The 300SD does have an electronic speedometer.
