My MB came with Beru wires. Last year I decided to replace them and ordered another set of Beru's. The orig. wires were metal. To my suprprise and disappointment, the replacement Beru wires sold on all of the web parts sites are no longer metal. The ends look the same, but the long stretch of wire is no longer metal as the factory equipped Beru's were.

The Kingsborne site above will sell you metal Beru's. I know of no other place to get them. Maybe someone else does.
