Electrical gremlins???
OK guys, this one has me stumped. I just picked up another 126. She's an 89 420 SEL, 138K on the clock. Everything in the car works EXCEPT, the radio and interior light only works if one of the front doors is open! This is probably the goofiest thing I've ever seen. Everything else seems fine, even the rear light works normally. When the doors are closed the interior lights, front and map lights wont even come on from the switch. If the radio is on and you close the door it just shuts off! Also when the door is opened the interior lights don't come on, but the ones on the bottom of the doors do come on. At first I thought maybe it was a fuse until I opened the door with the car running and everything worked fine. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions of what to check. Thanks in advance.

OK, here's what I found reference my lighting problem. Inside the drivers door there are two switches. The top one appears to turn on the interior lights normally. The bottom one is the one that's causing my problem. With the door open, if I push in that switch, the radio goes dead and the inside lights no longer work. What is the second switch for? Thanks.
