need bluetooth help

Hi All,

I hope some one can help. Just bought a new car and it is a 04 plate C220. The steering wheel has a button on it to answer my phone etc but I can't get my normally well trained phone to connect to the thing! It's not in the manual - does any one know?

Presence of button on steering wheel does not imply any wiring in the car for a telephone
