How to tell LH-SFI from HFM-SFI?
How can I tell which system my '95 S280 has?

A 95 104 motor should be an HFM. HFM stands for hot film mass air flow sensor. Seems to me LH is German for hot wire mass air flow sensor. In other words the difference in the type of air mass sensor. I think some 95 V8s still had hot wire but not the sixes.

HFM-SFI will have DIS ignition.

This car has 3 coils on top of 3 of the plugs and 3 other conventional plug wires going to the other 3 plugs.
