Bonehead move of the day

So my bro-in-law runs his 2001 E320 out of gas today. He calls his mother's boyfriend for help who in turn brings him 5 gallons of "gas." He pours the "gas" into his tank and heads to the nearest service station. The car is running bad all the way there (less than a mile.) He fills the tank with gas and it wont start. He had the car towed to a safe place. They check the jerry can and it was actually diesel . So he now has a full tank of a very interesting blend of fuel.

What does he need to do with the vehicle now? Flame away if you would like.
