Need some help..E320 (w124)

First off what's up.. this is my first post here (from 190REV) Where is the Engine number at on the m104's? and i need the part number for the wiring harness coming off the ecu (not the engine the other one)

you see the two wiring harness on the ecu (the one in the back not the abs)
one's for the motor and the other one is for fuse box, starter, instrument cluster, etc... thats the one i need (doing a engine swap trying to get all the parts i need)

another question...if i remove the EGR Valve and/or Air Pump will the motor run fine?? will the 2.6 torque converter out of a 190E work with the 3.2 m104 and 722.369 transmission?

Thanks for your help

The engine number is on the right side of the block... in front of the aluminum motor mount ARM.

You might do better getting info at the FORUM "performance paddock"

AS far as a part number for the wiring harness goes, that would depend on VIN as almost every year car is different & cars with traction systems require different ones as well.
