how to synchronize my 2 solex carb.

i have a 200 gas fintail 1967 , how do i synchronize my 2 solex carb. i have a unisyn but dont know how to use it.

If the unisyn that you have covers completely the carb openning (sealing it so all air is measured), then you will get a rise from the floating element in the tube proportional to the air flowing through that carb.

Place the unisyn back and forth to each carb adjusting the center wheel till one of the carbs registers in the tube. Adjust both carb idle throttle positions till the float rises similarly in both carbs. Adjust each back and forth till the idle speed is what you want and the float positions similar.
