glow plugs

Hi , Can somebody clue me in on ,if for a 1996 E300D if there is some sort of a glow plug relay that is not for sale in the FAstlane?I have replaced the glow plugs but am still having the rough start up. It clears out good after about 5 minutes but it just seems like the plugs are not getting juice Thanks

Have you tested the glow plugs with an ohm meter? Even new ones can go bad, some brands a whole lot quicker than others. How about the battery? Reasonably new?

Does the glow plug light in Cluster light up when you turn the key on?
There is a metal fuse in the glow plug relay also.
