climate control fan will not come on. all fuses seem good and fan did not exhibit any signs of going bad. one day its working next day it will not come on. ac works, heat works, I can tell this because at high speeds of-course air comes through because it is forced.

There is a regulator on top of the fan which tends to malfunction due to high temperatures and it will kill the fan. An improved part was introduced at some point which should solve your problem.

Its the regulator, or the bearing on the blower motor has siezed up. Take the cover off and see if the fan spins if it is stuck or starts up put ATF on the shaft. The motor is available seperately, but not from MB. there also have been some people finding the ground wire/screw to be corroded. There is no fuse and I have been told that the regulator is in the "ground side" of the circuit
