Re: 1992 300E 2.6, w/181,000 miles.
Just prior to mounting snowtires in Dec. the all weather Nokyians were making a lot of road noise.
Now they are back on, rotated. The very loud sound is gone, but there seems to be a louder than usual hum, sounds like from the front left tire. I don't recall road noise being this loud in the past.
What should I look at? Shocks? Wheel bearings? There's no discernable problem in front end, and the shocks are not leaking, (but they are the orginals.)
