W123 Changing front coil spring need help

Hi All
I need some advice on changing front coil spring.
Bought this 78 240D parts car. Look closer the left coil is missing. The ex-owner says they have it, greyhound to me.
TIA

What needed to do besides jack up the car, remove wheel.

Shock needed disconnected?

you definately do NOT want to mess with a $20 compressor with the Benz springs....these things are nder about 4" of compression with the suspension at full droop.
