Anyone go thru similar codes before and what where the issues? I have 1996 e320 and I am tired of taking it to the dealer now that the warranty is over. I have a Actron scanner that gave me this code. Actron unit works fine on that vehicle. No airbags blown yet....LOL

You could try this.
Erase the code, swap the coil for # 2 cylinder to another ( pair ) cylinder (s).
If the code comes back, indicating the " new " cylindernumber, get a replacement coil.
Could also be a simple " Coil Connector " problem.
