Imobiliser Relay / Starter / Fuel Pump
Hey guys,
Have been trying to locate the lead for the starter motor under the dash and in the fuse box. I know its supposed to be purple in colour but i cant locate it to break it and add the imobiliser relay. Can anyone elaborate on the best place to add the relay, wiring colors, etc. Could be added to starter feed, fuel pump, etc. The relay i have for this is a 40 AMP. The car in question is a 1993 280e (W124 with M104) Cheers |

Non US have a jumper wire for that circuit , so that is where you want to add a relay.
I can look that schematic up. if you want.......................... |

Go here
http://mb.braingears.com/124_DISC1/Program/etm_93.htm click on wire diagrams click on starter/battery -104 eng You can put your relay at starter feed -X27 [ 3 prong connector left of brake booster/on firewall between eng/booster] or, X49/2 connector from NSS [ that should be under dash, above accellerator pedal] Either will disable starter |
