Temp Sensor Replacement Tool 88 300TE
I've got the part but not the tool. Can anybody give me a heads up on the special tool required to replace the Temp Sensor nearest to the firewall.
Thought it might be a 22mm 75 degree double offset box wrench but don't believe I've got the room. Before I buy the wrong thing, maybe somebody can point me in the right direction. Any help greatly appreciated. |

Try a deep thin wall (snap-on) 22mm socket.

Thats right. Any 22mm deep enough should work.
I also had to (with a hammer) bang the 'engine lifting bracket', bolted on the end of the block, back out of the way a little to get it down on the sensor.
