Removing Door inside panel

I am trying to remove the drivers door inside plastic panel from a 93 190E with power seats. I have read about how to get the liner off, but I am getting stuck on the switches for the power seats and can not see how to get them off. When I move the panel around the switches stay fixed to the door and do not move with the panel.
