Hey All,
A friend gave me as a gift an Accel Supercoil(Universal), it had in the box a ballast resistor. Do I need to use the resistor? I didnt see a resistor near my old coil, but I suppose that it could be further in the wiring harness.. Anyone know for sure? Jason M. |

MB hasn't used ballast resistors since 1983 on US models!! Read the instructions with coil to see WHY they included the resistor with the coil. I would think it would be for some older American Iron.
