cooling temp. sensor

I try to locate my CT sensor but i could not find in my S/M book. Can anyone tell me where it is?

300CD was last listed in '81

That car has at least 3 coolant temp sensors.......located in the water pump.

What system is having a problem??

Should be Blue, two wire/prong sensor in the vacinity of the thermostat housing.
You can test for the correct one by pulling the connector off while the key is On , ..that will trigger the high fan. That is the sensor that the resistor mod bridges, changing the cut-in point.
