Rough start when cold

OK, I don't know if anyone can help but here goes, bear with the lengthy description This is also posted on MBWorld and BenzWorld
'99 C230 Kompressor

When I go to start my car after it has been sitting for about 8 hours, it will shake for the first 3 seconds while starting. It seems like it is going to stall but doesnt. Once it starts (always does), it is fine. Idle is fine, drives fine. Car has 85k on it now. I changed the plugs, MAF, and air filter at 80k. I just did the fuel filter a few days ago along with the addition of that Techron injector cleaner. These were done after the problem was already present. Anyway, when the car is warm it starts right up fine.
While searching I read about a car that was having a similar problem. Someone mentioned that a valve could be sticking which allows the fuel to slowly drain out of the fuel rail, just thought I'd throw that out there. Also, in my one year of ownership, car has yet to stall.

This seems like an odd problem, just hoping that someone might be able to crack it for me.

Thanks a bunch

Not sure on your model but if you have a cold idle valve this could be the problem. If it starts up when warm then it is not the fuel accumulator. I had similar problem with my 380se and cleaning the cold idle valve fixed it. Go look on FastLane to see if this part is on your model.

I suggest having it checked out by a professional.

About the engine shake on you're car, check out you're engine mounts. My car's had them replaced twice now, and each time the car begins to vibrate and little shaky on start up. THe first time they went at 80 000kms, so check it out.

C230 Kompressor cold start

I am having same problem with my car. Runs bad when first start - then after about 3 - 10 seconds it seems to straighten out. Then runs okay. after sets for about 6 to 8 hours same thing happens. Any suggestions?

Just to update, I have gone through a whole tank of the Techron injector cleaner, have had the new fuel filter installed, and checked for stored codes. I was playing around and unplugged one of my spark plugs to simulate a misfire and compare, and thats clearly not what this problem is.

Update, if I have my foot on the gas while trying to cold start , it immediately stalls, this is indicative of something?
I dont understand, the 2nd start and all warm starts are almost instantaneous.
