Question Mobile one exxtended motor oil

Ok We all here about these mericle formulas for ever lasting youth of our automobiles. But how sure is one to comparing this oil with the standard Mobile one oil I put in my 1992 300-E M103 engine?
I certainly would not trust running my oil changes passed 3000 miles doesn't alot of contamination work it self in to the oil between these cycles of hot and cold start ups in morning cool engine and hot or warm engine during the day.

It doesn't take that much time to change the oil and filter on my 300-E. So what kind of gains can I realisticaly expect to see or gain. Can these gains be measured in real life use with a 1992 Benz.
