ETHOS FR Have you heard of it?
At present I am doing a test on a product called Ethos FR. It is a fuel reformulator, made of special esters.
The claim- Increass fuel mileage 9-19% Reduce emissions 30-40 % Increass smoothnes and performance. Will clean the fuel system and engine. test car- 2002 4x4 dodge dakota 3.9l quad. I have checked the mileage on this truck since I have owned it. Average out here in the country is 16.5mpg. highway best was 19.4mpg. The co. says it has been suppling this to the US Army for some time now. Also large truck fleets and exporting it to China by the ship load. I started the test on my last fill up and won't know until Friday what results I got. i put it in my oil and my gas, I can say that the truck feels more pep pee. And the gas gauge has not dropped as usual. But I don't give much creedance to that. I need real #s, miles driven and fuel used. I will keep you all posted.

I was not correct when stating my mpg. as 16.5 I went back through 9 mos. for records and my average was 15.5mpg. After running the Ethos in one tank of fuel and in the engine oil. The mpg in country driving was 16.7. I have now change the oil and put the Ethos in a new tank of fuel and the oil. I will have another milleage check this friday. Cheers

Watch Out
A friend of mine, in Florida, sent me some info on a product called Bio Performance. It is promoted as some magic fuel enhancer. He claims to have increased his Corvette's average by 3MPG in just a couple of tankfuls.
I asked him if it was the same benzene product that some outfit is promoting as Diesel Secret, and he said that it is actually napthalene, and will not harm an engine, fuel lines, seals, or injector pumps. It is sold multi-level, and that is enough to scare me away. By the way, the Bio Performance website does not mention the napthalene, but does encourage everyone to check out the income opportunity. At least it didn't as far as I read, which admittedly wasn't very far. I would guess that my friend is being mislead, and his upline would probably disapprove of his candor in regard to the "secret" ingredient. I suspect this stuff is nothing more than snake oil, and is designed to take advantage of people's natural tendency to save money on fuel costs. These things crop up all over the place in time like these. Not saying the stuff you are telling us about is one of these scams, but be careful what you put into your tank.

The average life of a network marketing company is 18 months. There are thousands of them that exist at any given time. The business model is to sign up distributors so that the guys at the top can make most of the money and then go out of business. Then they start a new scam and on it goes.
"The co. says it has been suppling this to the US Army for some time now. Also large truck fleets and exporting it to China by the ship load. " BS. Where is the proof. They can, and will say anything. Kind of like colon cleansing ads on TV. Pure BS, but people are gullible and buy the products. You also might consider this thought. Since you know are expecting improved mileage, could it be that you are driving differently. You may not think you are , but the sub-conscious mind may be influencing your driving habits. Finally, as someone else noted, you are putting a fuel additive through your system and basing it's safety on a network marketing companies assurances. Sounds like rolling the dice to me. Steve |

Iam sure that you understand that Iam not trying to sell anything and yes it does seem as if I'm being a little trusting. I have tried acetone in the gas, cow magnets, prozone, atomizers even preheated my fuel and never got the slightest results. So I do not beleive that my driving habbits have changed or are being influenced by anything. Iam just posting results.
