flex discs and motor mounts - how to tell if they are bad
Like the title says - is there any way to tell if they're bad by looiking at them. I'm pretty inexperienced with telling if these parts are wore out. Heres why I suspect them:
-slightly rough idle when car is warm (like a vibration) - motor mounts? - ignition wires/coils? -slightly rough shift 3 - 4 under light acceleration - flex discs? - differential mounts? (front or rear?) See pics:

flex disc, by miles on them and visual - any chunks missing or cracks? yours look good, but you need to inspect the edge also.
motor mounts, miles on them, visual - leaking ( depending on construction ) and you can measure minimum clearance. but weight for an experienced mechanic to weigh in on this. |

You'll know if the mounts are bad. Here are the ones that came off my SDL... Age is another factor, 10 years is about as far as I'd run a set due to the heat in the compartment. Those parts are so inexpensive and require little effort to swap, it's good PM

motor mounts
put car in drive, put your left foot on the brake, start revving the car with your right foot, have someone look at the engine while you are doing this, if the engine looks like it wants to jump out of the car, then you need new mounts
