Hi Kerry, what a coincidence! I did not expect to find your post in my search for a compressor change.
 There's some noise coming from the compressor area in my car, and comes only when the a/c is turned on. So I suspect the compressor, although I do not know if the sound means the compressor is gonna fail. Presently it is still working fine, although the noise is something new. What brand of compressor did you get? How much did it cost in RM? I've heard of Denso, York and Sanden in 126s, do you know which one gives the coolest air? Might want to do the compressor job soon, pls advise, thanks! Mervyn 1983 W126 (280SEL)
