300E crankshaft
I have a bad crankshaft on my 92 300E. I have looked everywere for one and all I seem to find is diesel engine crankshafts and twin cam engine crankshafts. All I want to know is if they are the same or do they change...I believe that they must be different but I want to know if they are or not.

according to my mb buyers guide they have a different stroke. so no they wont interchange. i wouldn't be surprised if they have the same bore spacing and the same main bearings though. so if that is true, theoretically with the right rods and pistons you could make a stroker engine.
