Thanks for your help. My car is a 88 260e and I managed to close it. I had to use a wrench and pliers in order to do it. To do it manually u have to go to the trunk and hold one bolt and twist the center piece. If anyone wants details just let me know.

P.S. We got the new lexus sc430 at our dealership and it looks alot like the slk (just with alot more horses and 18 inch wheels)
