I also noticed that this alternator does not have the long bolts that go all the way through the alternator. The ends of the bolts are used to attach the plastic cover for the back and the heat shield on the back on the current alternator. The heat shield and such are still required, correct? Should I just go to a hardware store and pick up some bolts in order to attach the heat shield and cover, or should I continue to attempt to get the bolts out of the old one? The bolts are pretty much locked in there and I am mangling the screw heads trying to get them out
