| Electrical bugs....

1989 190E 2.6 Gas/Auto. My wife drives the car and says that occasionally when she pulls the turn signal down for a left turn, the blinker does not come on and the A/C shuts down. The fan quits altogether. The red flasher switch still activates the blinkers, but the turn signals wont work with the wand until she hears the A/C fan start to blow, then the blinkers work again. The duration of the problem was between 5-10 minutes and it has done it 3 times over the last week. Please note that the steering wheel was not yet rotated when the fan kicked out, only the wand was moved. Any ideas?

Hmmm. That is bizarre. Perhaps the turn signal switch itself is going on the fritz?
