Climate control illumination....
Is there anyway to replace the light bulb that illuminates the temp setting for the passanger side climate control. Mine has the dual digital displays and you cannot see the pass. one at all at night. I took the whole unit out and took it apart, but I cannot find the bulb that is for that display....anyone else done this...or know of somewhere on the web it might be discussed?
Thanks

Your car might have fiber optic lighting. The lamp will be remoted elsewhere. Look for a BLACK lead that looks like a wire. Follow it to a central lamp. They used this style on the 80's 300's for switch illumination

It's not fiber....thanks anyway. I think the light might be built into the LCD display....I hope not cause it does not look like it is replaceable...that means a whole new CC module....for one light...NOT.
Any one else know anything about these modules and how they illuminate the LCD?
