removing tailight on w123

Ok I feel dumb, I can get the tailight off my 123. Event with all the bolts out it wont come out.

What's the trick ?

it should just push out.

either the lense gasket is stuck to the body or it could be siliconed onto it. if just stuck, you have to push harder, if glued it will be tricky to do with out breaking anyghing.

just be careful and you will be fine

Are you just trying to get the lense off or take out the whole tailight assm?

I wanna get the whole assembly off.

I unscrewd the part that holds the bulbs and took off all th screws that hold the tailight against the body of the car.

It feels likethe black part is a seperate fpiece from the red and amber paret but I cant yank them off.

Btw. nothing is siliconed on.. it feel loose but simply just wont come out

the inner shell comes into the trunk. the outer part goes out. if it is stuck maybe you dont have all the fasteners out.

some are a little hard to see.
