side vent blows hot and middle blows cold??

Ive had this problem with my air conditioning for a while. only the left side and bottom vent blows hot (like the heater is on high) and middle blows nice and cold??

Ive been told that It's probably the water valve (monovalve or duovalve). But still not sure. Id like to avoid taking it to a shop if possible. If someone could help me, that would be great!

post here or email me at: jesseworld@helloworld.com

according to your other posts you have a 97 c-class. do a search for duovalve here and you will find some answers. the part is pretty easy to change by yourself. check with phil here on the links at the top of this page for a price (buy parts.)

model is: 1996 c220

i wanted to know if there is a way to plug the heater hoses so the heater doesn't work at all. I live in hawaii and never use the heater. I tried pluging the one hose going into the duovalve, but water started coming out of the duovalve.

is ther another hose to plug?
