190e 16 valve r134 conversion problems

I had my 16 valve converted about 7 years ago when the a/c compressor and high side hose developed leaks. The Benz mechanic I use replaced the high side hose, a/c compressor, and drier with mercedes spec r 134 conversion kit. With the outside temp below 89 degrees F, the car cools pretty well. Once it gets over 90 and humid, the a/c vent temps dont get any cooler than the outside air. Also, after like 15 to 20 minutes of driving, the fuse blows on the fan circuit. Any suggestions? Should I get the expansion valve and condensor replaced as well and see how it performs? Any 190e owners convert to 134a? How much did you charge system with?

Please advise.
