Hi everyone. ..
My first questions is almost embarrassing to ask but, , How to change the lamp in the front fog light (located in the spoiler)?? I've looked at the backside of the fog light and removed the plastic cover. Under the cover I found another plastic cover that I didn't succeed to remove. Is there a special procedure for this cover?? Is there a screwthread or just to pull?? It's very tight so I don't have much visual.

Second qustion is about the dashboard/frontpanel. I have to get beneath the panel to follow up some cables (probably going from the middle to the right) so my guess is to remove the panel at the passengerside, under the glove compartment. I haven't figured out how it's attached though. Is there something I should look out for?? The car is a 300 SL -91.

The dash panel is screwed to the dash by screws that can be seen through little holes in the carpet over the panel (you have to have a close look to find the screws).

I have never changed the fog light bulbs...I can have a look tomorrow at my model "97 fog lights that are still lying on the shelf...and give you an answer if someone else didn't already.

greetingz,

Yeah, and I made some digital pictures as well. I have looked at the uninstalled "97-2001 fog lights and they have a round cap at the back of the light unit that needs to be turned counter clockwise for approx. 45 degrees. After the cap is turned, you can pull it off.

Send me an email and I will send you the pictures tonight when I am back from work.

greetingz,
