Flywell bolts to REPLACE?
 Hi to everibodyTomorrow i will start tho disassemble my engine as my clk leak serously oil fropm the crankshft seal lip.............. On MB doc I can read that they suggest to change every time bolts that hold the flywell............but i have to order these.... is this real? the bolt must be at 45 N.m 1 90 dgree i do not think is a very big torque. what do you siuggest me? Is really necessary chage this bolt? I am far from the dealer.... many thanks guys alberto

does the fsm give a way to measure to see if it will go again? if not i would change them. it is not that much money.

If they are indeed stretch bolts there is no question on replacing them. Replace them!

Always replace them...the new ones threads are covered with sealer too.
Used angle torque bolts to hold in a 40 lbs flywheel/torque convertor assembly, at 5800 rpm !  This rotating mass is not something you need looking for daylight ! .
