AC Codes - Tech help pls. (<==edit: Add'l data posted)
My 99 E300 has intermittent blower malfunctions where occasionally the interior fan does not come on. Digital display goes to max and then cycles down pending exterior temp. After sitting a few hours is usually back to normal on restart. Has occured summer and winter. AC and heat work fine at all vents; intermittently there is no fan to push air out.
Climate control panel codes are: eb1234 eb1459 ebFF (finished?) Doing the vent test I get #1-15 and can then toggle low and hi for each; fan never changes speed (was tested while in a malfunction mode) but I can hear the vents opening and shutting. Can someone tell me what the error codes indicate? ****************** edit 7/10 at 7pm: Today the fan worked fine and after arriving home the Actual Values after 1hr rest at ~75f were: 1 - 84 2 - 85 3 - 80 4 - 80 5 - 39 6 - 177 7 - 15 8 - 132 9 - 35 10 - 2.0 11- 2.4 12 - 4.3 20 - 6.7 21 - 42 22 - 00 23 - 32 24 - 13.1 40 - 164 41 - 32 42 - 72 43 - 136 the the first 4 values were moving targets, were dropping a point or two as i was copying.
